Roast Beef


1 Roast Beef (round or chuck)

1 pound cut carrots

3 or 4 peeled potatoes (optional)

1 package pot roast seasoning (any brand)

2 – 3 peeled onions

1 cup water

Preheat oven 350°.  Place roast in cooking bag; add seasoning packet, vegetables and water.  Close bag and put 3 or 4 small holes in top of bag.  Cook  1 1/2 – 2 hours depending on size of roast.  Remove vegetables and meet from bag.  Add water from mashed potatoes.  Swish water around bag and remove bag.  Thicken with cornstarch for gravy.
