1 turkey, defrosted, be sure to remove neck and giblet from inside
neck and rear cavities.
1 Reynolds Cooking bag for Turkey – Read bag instructions before
1 bunch celery
1 large yellow onion (Spanish, Bermuda or Vidila
1 container fresh mushrooms
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tblsp poultry seasonings
1 stick butter
1 – 1 1/2 loaves of bread, cut into small pieces
In sauce pan (covered) with salt water, bring neck and giblets to a boil then turn down to simmer and cook, approximately 30 minutes. While this is cooking chop vegetables for dressing (celery, onion and mushrooms). Melt butter in a large frying pan, add celery and onions and sauté till onions are clear, add mushrooms continuing to sauté till all are soft. Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Place bread cubes in a large bowl, add cooked vegetables and seasonings and mix. Add enough liquid from neck/giblet to moisten. Add any additional ingredients from Stuffing Variation List. Add any additional salt, pepper, or poultry seasoning to taste. Rinse turkey and pat dry, salt large cavity and stuff with stuffing. Do not overstuff. Any extra stuffing can be put in ovenproof casserole dish or pan. Fill end of cavity with apple or peeled whole onion or ties legs together or use poultry pins to close stuffing into cavity. Sprinkle outside of turkey with salt, pepper and garlic powder (or rub under skin with *roasted garlic butter. Place in Reynolds cooking bag in large roasting pan. Bag should have 1 tablespoon of flower shaken inside bag, lay two or three stalks of celery in the bottom of bag and place turkey on top of celery stalks. Close bag with twist tie and put 6 holes in bag per Reynolds cooking bag instructions. Cook turkey in pre heated oven for the amount of time indicated by directions for stuffed turkey for the cooking bag.
Stuffing Variation List: Add any of the following to your stuffing to give it a different twist All of these can be added to Stove Top Stuffing to doctor it up for a quick stuffing with homemade flair.
1 Instead of broth, use Ameratto Liqueur to moisten stuffing
1 1 large apple, peel, core and dice with 1/2 raisins and 1/2 cut walnuts
1 Cut up chicken liver and add to dressing
1 1 cup oysters diced cut and sauté with vegetables

Cut top points from 2 large whole bulbs of garlic; place on aluminum & drizzle with olive oil; seal aluminum and roast for one hour; remove cloves from skins and add to1 stick butter. Rub turkey under skin with roasted garlic butter
