Green Bean Casserole

1 bag frozen cut green beans or French style green beans

1 can cream of mushroom soup

3 strips bacon

1 3 oz can French Fried Onion Rings

Cook beans in microwave as directed on package.  Drain and place in casserole dish.  Cook bacon to make bacon bits; add to green beans with just a little of the bacon grease; blend in undiluted can of mushroom soup; top with onion rings.  Bake 350° until hot and bubbly approximately 30 minutes if baking immediately  Can make the day before and refrigerate overnight, just do not add onion rings until right before baking.  Sit out at room temp 1 hr before baking, baking time approximately 45 minutes.  For extra flavor cook greenbeans in a slow cooker with a ham hock over night on low.
