Homemade Chicken Soup

1 whole chicken breast ( 2 split breasts w/bone)         

2 tsp salt                     

3 chicken bouillon cubes        

1/2 tsp garlic

2 quarts water            

1 small onion diced                

2 carrots

1 tblsp parsley                        

1 large pkg. Egg noodles

In stock pot place chicken breast, 2 quarts water and salt.  Bring to boil and cook chicken 20 minutes.  Remove chicken from water.  Skim any excess fat off of water.  Skin and  de-bone chicken then cut into cubes.  Return to water and add all remaining ingredients.  Simmer covered over low heat 1 hour.  Prepare noodles per package and add to soup just before serving.

For Chicken Corn Soup: Add 1 box frozen corn, 3 diced potatoes and 8 oz. Sliced mushrooms with carrots and seasonings.  Last 10 minutes add 1 can evaporated milk.
