Olive Garden’s Pasta e Fagioli

1 ½ pounds ground beef

1 pound Italian Sweet Sausage (bulk or remove casings)

1 large can crushed tomatoes

1 15 oz can diced tomatoes

2 15 oz cans (or 32oz box) beef stock

1 can red kidney beans

1 can great northern beans

1/2 tsp each (approx)salt, garlic powder and Italian Seasonings

Approx 1 cup of each diced:  onion; celery and carrot

8 oz  Ditali  or other small pasta (I have used macaroni)

Brown beef and sausage and drain.  Place in crock pot with all ingredients except pasta and cook on high 2 hours then turn to low for about 4 hours (can do for 8 hours on low).  Cook pasta al dente as directed on box, drain and add to soup.  Serve and top with parmesans cheese if desired.
