Stuffed Peppers

1 pound ground beef or meat loaf mix

1 egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 ½ cup prepared minute rice

4 green bell peppers

Large (16 oz) can tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes which you add 1 tsp minced garlic and some dried basil & oregno

Mix beef, egg, seasonings and cooked rice well.  Stuff meat mixture into cleaned bell peppers. Place in casserole dish sprayed with PAM. If extra meat, make meat balls and place in sauce with stuffed peppers.  Cover with tomato sauce.  Cover dish and bake at 350°  1 ½ hours or until done.
