This is the recipe for the sinfully delicious brownies that Aunt Linda use to bring to the Lake when we had BBQs. It got it’s name when Uncle Bruce said, “These are F_ _ king good brownies”, and that name has stuck.
60 light Kraft caramels (1 1/2 bags)
1/2 cup evaporated milk (Carnation or Pet)
1 box German Chocolate Cake mix
3/4 cup melted margarine
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips
Melt caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated mile over low heat until melted. Set aside. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan. In mixing bowl combine cake mix, margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, and nuts. Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of pan and bake 350 for 8 minutes. Sprinkle both chips over baked crust, spread caramel mixture over chips. Crumble remainder of cake mixture over caramel layer. Bake 350 for 18 – 20 minutes. Cool slightly then refrigerate 1/2 hour before cutting into 30-40 brownies. Cut when cool, not cold. I have substituted a jar of caramel sauce for the candies and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.
