Blonde Brownies

2 cups flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

2/3 cup butter or margarine

2 eggs slightly beaten

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 cup semi-sweet choc chips

1/3 cup finely chopped nuts.

Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, melt butter in microwave and remove; add sugar; blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture gradually, mixing well. Fold in chips and nuts. Spread in greased (bottom only) 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Cool in pan, cut in bars. Makes 48.
