Strawberry Pie

Prepare single crust pie pastry; cook per directions and cool  Wash 1 pint of strawberries, cutting extra large berries in half, otherwise it is O.K. to leave whole.  Place berries in pie shell.  Prepare filling.

 

Filling:           

4 tblsp strawberry jello                      

4 tblsp corn starch

1 cup water                                        

1 cup sugar

 

Bring to boil, stirring constantly to thicken; cool.  Pour over berries and refrigerate.  Serve with whipped cream.
