Maw’s Blue Cheese Ball

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

8 oz crumbled blue cheese

8 oz shredded white sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup minced onion or chives

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce chopped walnuts (about 1 cup give or take)

In a medium bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, onion (or chives) and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well like mixing meat loaf. Form into 2 balls. Spread the chopped nuts out on a dinner plate. Roll the cheese ball in nuts until coated. Wrap ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm (make a day ahead) then ready to serve. Variation: add some chopped green olives to the mixture. Could do one plain and one with olives
