1 peck apples

8 cups sugar

2 lb. Brown sugar

2 cups vinegar

4 tsp. Cinnamon

2 tsp ground cloves

Peel and quarter apples. Cook until soft (add water).  Put through food mill.  Combine all ingredients with apple pulp in large roaster pan.  Cook in oven at 350 until bubbling.

Lower temperature to 300 and cook in oven until thick (couple of hrs).  Put in jars and seal.
